Product features

• Pressed, not printed: The logo is pressed into the flat face by a die and left uninked, so it reads by the shadow the relief throws rather than by a colour that can fade.
• A die takes the flat face: The die works on a flat bed: the mark sits inside the flat face and the round shoulders and the rim of the curve keep bare steel around it.
• No coating on the mark: The mark is part of the body, so wiping the flask, brushing it or a winter in a pocket takes nothing away from it — the relief and the steel wear together.
• One die, made once: One emboss die is cut from the artwork and reused for every run, so the logo is settled once and a repeat order starts from the same tool.
• 5OZ, the small round flask: At 5OZ the flask is the small one in the range — around five measures, 9.2 x 10.5cm — and light enough at 200g to be handed over on its own.

Customizing options

• Emboss artwork: The die is cut from the artwork: outlines, solids and letterforms read in relief, fine hairlines and photographic tone do not — an emboss is one level of steel, not a picture.
• Emboss area: The mark is placed inside the flat face of the body; the round shoulders cannot be embossed, so a design that has to wrap round the flask cannot be laid on it.
• Die and repeat orders: The die is a one-off tool cut against the artwork and kept for repeat runs, so a second order using the same logo reuses the same die.
• Body finish: Left as brushed steel: no paint, no plating and no ink over the relief, so the emboss reads by shadow and the brush lines run through it.
• Packaging: White box, kraft paper box or colour box — all three are available, chosen with the order.
