A UK-based small-animal brand that designs and sells its own range of habitats and accessories for guinea pigs and rabbits through its own online stores in the UK and the US. The company develops its own ranges and sources the manufactured goods from overseas suppliers. As the brand owner it orders against its own artwork and packaging, so a new item has to fit an existing range.

The customer needed a private-label summer item for small-animal owners: a bottle the end user fills, freezes and places next to the animal. It had to be pet-safe (BPA-free) with a leak-proof screw lid, and covered by a printed sleeve that keeps the animal off the frozen surface, carries the customer's seasonal artwork and holds bilingual (EN/FR) instructions on a retail-ready wrap.

We supplied the finished retail item as one assembled package: the BPA-free double-walled plastic bottle with screw lid, the printed sleeve carrying the customer's artwork, and the on-pack wrap with bilingual instructions. Bottle, sleeve and packaging were sourced and coordinated as one project, so the customer received a ready-to-sell item instead of separate components.

The item entered the customer's summer range as a private-label product and is currently listed in their Summer Essentials collection. It reached the range as one assembled, retail-ready package — bottle, printed sleeve with the customer's own artwork, and bilingual wrap — rather than three separate components, so the customer added a single finished SKU.
