Defect Classes — Critical / Major / Minor
AQL — Finished goods generally by sampling / AQL, key items can be 100% inspected
Standard Priority — Customer AQL / quality standard applies when specified in advance, otherwise the factory standard
FAI Trigger — New mold first production run
FAI Trigger-based — Major mold repair, key tooling / fixture change, key process change, or another major change affecting the result
FAI on Repeat Orders — No mechanical full FAI
Leak Test — Applied at suitable points such as after polishing
Insulation Test — Applied after vacuum and after coating / painting, may be run twice
Drop Test — Only when the customer requires it, not mandatory on every order
Material / Composition Verification — Arranged according to material, customer and compliance requirements
Customer-specific Testing — Standard, sample source, cost and timing agreed per project
Failure Cost — Allocated by root cause / responsibility

Incoming QC

Stainless steel raw material, purchased tubing, lid / accessories, colour, printing, packaging, supplier documents, necessary material evidence

Process QC

Checks at key processes; on a trend deviation: production hold if needed, containment from the last known good point, root cause, corrective action, reinspection, resume

First Article Inspection

New mold first production run, and trigger-based occasions: checked against drawing, final specification, function, appearance and the approved / golden sample; on a fail, stop or contain, root cause, corrective action, new first article, reinspection, resume
