Tooling & Molded Physical Sample
Mold fee paid in full before tooling. The molded physical sample is the mandatory approval gate of a new-mold project: the customer approves the physical sample before bulk order / mass production. The 3D sample that comes before tooling is paid in full as well: it is a standalone development cost, not automatically refunded or credited unless agreed in writing, and a customer-driven change of an approved design is charged to the customer while factory error is reworked by the factory.
